What's driving the trend: Atmosphere & crowd
Based on Google Reviews · May 2021 - May 2026 · 153 reviews
Atmosphere is the anchor here, with five years of reviews at Arrowhead Campground consistently circling back to the crowd vibe and sense of place. The 27 reviewers who raised the atmosphere and crowd theme describe a generally positive scene, and the most recent year holds steady, with five fresh mentions averaging upbeat. But under the surface, staff and owner interaction remains a source of friction: 21 reviewers across the window flagged inconsistent experiences, and the latest feedback on this theme is still mixed, not resolved. Site quality and maintenance also show a persistent split, with four of the most recent reviewers still raising concerns. If you're booking now, expect a reliably pleasant atmosphere, but read recent reviews on staff interaction and site upkeep to see if the fit is right for you.
The CampRecord is generated through analysis of public guest reviews spanning multiple years. Patterns described reflect themes observed in reviewer feedback over time and should be considered alongside other research when planning a stay.

Sites are grass, gravel, dirt, sand, or asphalt. Both pull-through and back-in types.
Site surfaces and levelness are highly variable. Most sites are 30 amp only and pedestals/water can be up to 60 feet from pad, requiring extension cords/hoses.
50 amp available only in the annual/seasonal section, not for transients. Full hookup and water/electric only sites exist. Sewer is often not present on most transient sites. Spacing between lots is usually spacious, but some areas are close. Hookups are sometimes oddly placed across the site from pad.
Bring extension cords and long hoses for electric and water due to poor hookup layout and distances.
