About TrustedCamp Limited Data

This campground has under 30 combined reviews across our tracked platforms, and the available data doesn't yet support a confident positive evaluation. What that means: We can see the patterns in the existing reviews, but with fewer reviews to draw from, the picture isn't yet clear enough to classify this as a recommended property. Why it's listed anyway: Transparency. Every Wisconsin campground we analyze gets a place on TrustedCamp, with honest context about the data we have. Some Limited Data properties will earn On Our Radar or Verified status as more reviews accumulate.

Best For
Campers seeking a quiet, wooded setting with a lively on-site bar and restaurant and plenty of site space.
Avoid If
You prioritize cleanliness and reliable facility maintenance—reviews document recurring amenity and lodging concerns across multiple stays.
A pattern of high severity complaints dominates guest feedback about cleanliness. Multiple reviewers describe unsanitary bathrooms, unclean lodging units, and dirty or poorly maintained pool and bar areas. Overflowing dumpsters and long-unmown grass are also routinely cited. These chronic issues present an ongoing concern for campers seeking reliably clean facilities.
Several reviewers report not being informed about the need to bring their own linens and supplies, while others encounter confusion regarding the availability and condition of key amenities like the pool. Complaints about advertised amenities being closed, dirty, or not matching website information are common. These issues create friction and disappointment when reality does not meet expectations.
Guests describe the staff as friendly and accommodating, with several positive notes about staff members and general atmosphere. However, a few reviewers mention disputes over management decisions and refund policies, which indicate occasional friction. Overall, staff interactions trend positive with some notable areas for improvement.
A consistent pattern of complaints centers around booking disputes, unexpected charges, and unclear communication about pricing and cancellations. Several guests describe disagreements about quoted rates and difficulties securing promised refunds, which create a sense of mistrust and dissatisfaction. These booking issues appear frequently enough to warrant concern for prospective campers.
Several reviewers express discomfort with the noise and atmosphere caused by the campground bathrooms and showers being attached to the bar, resulting in drunk patrons wandering into family areas. No positive feedback is provided regarding a peaceful or quiet environment. Campers concerned with a relaxed or family-friendly atmosphere may encounter disruptions.
A recurring issue for RV campers is the unreliable and sometimes unusable nature of sewer hookups, with many noting that connections can require uphill drainage or are inaccessible. Challenges with leveling due to rough, uneven ground and rutted roads are commonly cited. Water pressure is generally good, but combined site and hookup issues frequently frustrate guests with larger rigs.
The overall community rating is quite low, reflecting persistent patterns of dissatisfaction across multiple review platforms. This score captures deeply rooted concerns in cleanliness, site maintenance, and booking trust, as reflected in widespread guest experiences.

Scores reflect documented patterns across guest reviews, built from consistent evidence rather than individual opinions. They're meant to aid comparison, not to certify or rate operator performance.

Excellent bar food and friendly service overshadowed by serious cleanliness, maintenance, and management issues across lodging and campground facilities.

Rig tip: Expect challenging site leveling for big rigs due to rutted roads, uneven pads, and frequent muddy conditions.

Before You Arrive

Sites are gravel or dirt, with both back-in and pull-through options. Amperage offered includes 30 and 50 amp. Hookups include water, sewer (often draining into holding tanks), and electric, but access and drainage are frequently problematic. Site spacing is generally described as large or fairly spacious, but proximity to neighbors can vary. Terrain is uneven with large rocks, ruts, and occasional mud.

Excellent UTV trails nearby—get a Michigan pass at the Visitor Center. Numerous restaurants and grocery stores within a short drive.

Chuck Wagon and Tavern on Central recommended. Music Bingo at the bar is a popular event. If the dump station is full, the nearby travel center is an option for $10. Consider alternative parks nearby for lower rates and possibly better facility maintenance.
