About TrustedCamp Limited Data

This campground has under 30 combined reviews across our tracked platforms, and the available data doesn't yet support a confident positive evaluation. What that means: We can see the patterns in the existing reviews, but with fewer reviews to draw from, the picture isn't yet clear enough to classify this as a recommended property. Why it's listed anyway: Transparency. Every Wisconsin campground we analyze gets a place on TrustedCamp, with honest context about the data we have. Some Limited Data properties will earn On Our Radar or Verified status as more reviews accumulate.

Best For
ATV and UTV riders wanting direct trail access, on-site bar, and a casual welcoming basecamp atmosphere.
Avoid If
You expect consistent food service or polished cabin accommodations — operations can feel disorganized at busy times.
Guests describe the shower houses and bathrooms as clean, with several positive mentions of well-kept facilities. Reviews suggest the campground maintains a good standard of cleanliness throughout the grounds.
Campers appreciate the on-site bar and grill, as well as the central location on the ATV/UTV trail system. However, some reviews note that cabin accommodations may lack certain amenities like TVs, and there are occasional complaints about food service delays and inconsistent kitchen hours. Overall, amenities are solid but could be more reliable or varied.
Reviews present a mixed picture: many guests praise the staff's friendliness and welcoming attitude, saying they feel like family. However, there are also reports of overwhelmed staff during busy times and poor customer service over the phone, especially regarding lost items.

Noise can be an issue, especially in the cabin accommodations where guests report thin walls and little privacy. Some campers mention being able to hear neighbors clearly, which can detract from a peaceful stay.
Campers report that the gravel RV sites are level and offer full hookups, with no notable complaints about water, electric, or sewer connections. This makes it a reliable choice for RV travelers.
Reviews suggest a fun, casual atmosphere where guests often have a good time and feel welcomed by both staff and other campers. The campground's social vibe and loyal returning visitors contribute to a positive sense of community.

Amenities are the single most debated feature in recent reviews, with nine guests over the past five years split between praise and disappointment—and the two most recent reviewers notably less satisfied than those from earlier years. At Doc's Bunkhouse, this inconsistency in amenities stands out even as other themes, like staff interaction (22 mentions) and atmosphere (16 mentions), have shown steadier improvement, especially with staff sentiment reaching its highest point in the latest period. The sharp drop and partial rebound in overall sentiment, with 16 recent reviewers weighing in, reflect a campground where your experience may hinge on which amenities matter most to you. Read recent reviews specifically about amenities before booking.

The CampRecord is generated through analysis of public guest reviews spanning multiple years. Patterns described reflect themes observed in reviewer feedback over time and should be considered alongside other research when planning a stay.
