A 5-year view of camper sentiment
What's driving the trend: Site quality & maintenance
Based on Google Reviews · May 2021 - May 2026 · 406 reviews
Site quality and maintenance have set the tone for guest experiences here, with 84 reviewers across five years describing a campground that delivers steady, if unspectacular, stays. At Cliffside Park Campgrounds, the pattern is one of consistency: each year, a similar share of guests mention the condition of sites, and sentiment on this theme has held in a narrow band, with the most recent 13 reviewers actually a touch more positive than those from earlier years. Cleanliness and atmosphere have also drawn regular, generally favorable feedback—45 and 54 mentions, respectively—without any dramatic shifts or sudden gaps. For campers who value predictability over surprises, what you read in recent reviews is what you’ll get.
The CampRecord is generated through analysis of public guest reviews spanning multiple years. Patterns described reflect themes observed in reviewer feedback over time and should be considered alongside other research when planning a stay.

Site surface is primarily gravel with some dirt.
All sites are back-in. Most sites are long enough for big rigs and a tow/towed vehicle. Every site offers 20/30/50 amp electrical and water, but none offer sewer—dump station near entrance/exit. Sites are reported as very spacious, grassy, level, and provide some/much shade from mature trees. Water hookups are sometimes 50+ feet from pad and often shared with a neighbor. Power poles are typically well-placed. Distance between sites ranges from spacious to very spacious, with privacy created by trees or bushes.
Bring a 50-foot or longer water hose for some sites.
Water spigots often shared—verify connections.
