What's driving the trend: Amenities
Based on Google Reviews · May 2021 - May 2026 · 108 reviews
The story here is one of gradual improvement, especially when it comes to amenities. While earlier years saw only scattered mentions, the most recent reviews at Crystal Lake Campground reflect a noticeable uptick in positive feedback about features and facilities, with both recent mentions scoring well above earlier averages. Activities and entertainment also drew praise, with every mention over the past five years landing on the positive side. Site quality and maintenance, however, remain a mixed bag—21 reviewers raised the issue, and the most recent feedback is still negative, signaling an area that hasn't fully turned the corner. If you're planning a stay, the recent upswing in amenities is worth noting, but it's wise to check the latest reviews for site condition specifics before booking.

Site surface is gravel. Site types include pull-through. Sites are reportedly long enough for travel trailer and tow vehicle, with tow vehicle parking available. Power and water connections are available at some sites but sewer hookups are not—dump station provided. Sites are sunny/open with 'nearby' neighbors and some sites described as extremely close together and adjacent to dump station. Some sites have holes left from removed trees.
Request a site away from the sewage pond and dump station if possible. If you're assigned a site behind the shed or near construction equipment, ask to be moved. The swimming pool is consistently cited as the only amenity worth using. Bring a flashlight at night—some sites have unfilled holes from tree removal. Expect outhouses for transient/overnight RV spots and limited privacy between sites.
Pull-through gravel sites are available but some are close together and may border the dump station.
